The West

Golden Moore

Mucky lands thick with peat. Stagnant water and areas of slow flowing water fill these lands. Tall, golden grass cover the land where the earth is moist, not flooded. They grow around the edges of the flooded areas along with a few trees and shrubs. Ducks, beavers, cougars, and other wildlife thrive here. These lands are dry rather than humid. In the summer the water level is much lower and once muddy areas are dry.

Sunrise Cliffs

Tall cliffs and plateaus make up this area. The side of the cliffs are a straight drop and impossible to climb. The only way to stand on the top is to walk up the slopes from the back sides. The tops are flat and give a glorious view to the world beneath them. At the top and bottom of the cliffs are evergreen trees to make the surrounding area forested. The area is dry, especially during the summer. At Dawn, the sun bleeds between two cliffs that face one another creating a prism of colors, a magnificent sight to behold.

Firelight Canyon

A deep canyon found in the southern part of the western region. It is made of reddish colored stone and firm, red clay. Vegetation is scarce besides some shrubs and moss, but the lands are covered with various stones. The rocky terrain creates several hiding places. There are many cave-like structures made of fallen boulders and crevices to hide in. This is a dangerous place to roam for anyone who tries to climb to the top of the canyon could easily fall. Not all the rocks are stable. Only the bravest dare to do more than pass through.

Crystalline Caverns

These caverns are found in the cliffs and are a collection of many tunnels and entrances. There are many pools of water inside and in some areas the walls are filled with glistening crystals. It is a magical place, but a place that is easy to get lost in. There are some spots where the scent of old blood hangs in the air and bones can be found. Rumors say that dark deeds were done here and those memories still linger. However, those areas are difficult to find, while the crystal halls tend to be at almost every turn.

Arcane Thicket

Dense woodlands with dense under-story filled with tall grasses, weeds, and shrubs. Vines and mosses cover the trees. Many small mammals and deer call this place home. There is an abundance of prey and a lack of predators for wolves here. This is a safe place thriving with life. Yet, not much is known of this area. There may be many things hiding deeper within the thicket.

Tall Grass Prairie

A lovely prairie filled with golden tall grass, green shrubs, and an occasional tree as far as the eye can see. The land is flat with out any slopes or hills. A single stream runs right through the middle as the only water source around. The air is always dry, even in the winter. This place is simple, but filled with prey and predators a like with few places for larger animals to hide.

Phury Falls

A massive waterfall, pouring out over stones. It exerts great force and no one should get too close. The roar can be heard from quite a distance away as it crashes into a deep pond and over sleek stones at the bottom which protrude out from the water's surface. It flows out from a stony cliff, what appears to be a cave too high for anyone to enter. The surrounding area is filled with evergreens and a few scarce flowers that bloom during the warmer months. At the water's edge there are massive boulders that outline its sandy banks.
